Mayan World Cenote Tour - Playa del Carmen
Cenotes, originating from the Mayan word Dzonot (sacred well), were considered by the ancient Maya to be the Gateway to the Underworld. At present, they are defined as the access to the underground rivers of the Yucatán Peninsula.
This tour is designed to give a deeper understanding of these amazing natural attractions, ranging from the typical cave cenote structure, to an open pool connected to the Caribbean Sea.
